Hi Teresa, There is a person that does a great amount of research on the Bartleys in Pike county and surounding area. Her name is Joyce Wallace and her e-address is joycew@bellatlantic.net I'm sure she'll have a ton of information for you. She also has a Bartley website but I'm not sure of the address. My husband's Bartley's go back to

All the Bartleys were born in Pike County or in Virginia. But get a hold of Joyce she can tell you alot!! If you find out that you belong to this line, there will be a Bartley Reunion on Saturday June 15, 2002, but I'm unsure of the time, it will be at the state park called The Breaks.
