I am researching Berkley's (Berkeley). I have found them as Barkley, Bartley. Berckley, Barclay and Bartlett. They change from census to census. I found a Peter Berkley in the 1827 DC Directory. I then found him in Prince Georges County, MD getting married as Peter Bartley in 1830. I find I am researching all of them. How do you keep up with it? This is a main line for me.
