The best we can tell, this is my father's family first "American" forefather. I have found paperwork that indicates that he fought in the American Revolutionary War; however, I can find no information further than that. Because of a letter that we found asking for a land grant, we believe that he was born in England. I have searched every port entry record, etc. that I have been able to get my hands on. I have had to put away my work for a while, but I am still on the "look" when an opportunity arises. I did my research in KY (my Dad's family still lives there). Just an FYI...have you been to the old Mulkey Meeting House or Thompkinsville?
