I am interested in any information on the parents and siblings of JAMES BARTLY/BARTLEY, born ca 1829 in Arkansas (?). He was in Texas in 1840,
Cooke, Grayson Counties. Wifes given name was Mary (Polly) also born in Ark.
Their children were John and Rebecca
Angeline. He is believed to have been killed in the Civil War. Family moved to Bell County, Texas where Rebecca married Wylie T. Anderson and moved to Kimble and Edwards County, Texas. Any information on this family will be appreciataed.
