It's interesting to read that you're descended from a Bartley with ties to Kanawha County. I'm a Kanawha County Bartley, but my great great grandfather didn't get to this area until the late 1800s at the earliest. I'm aware of the other group of Bartleys here, but I'm not sure of their connection.
