Trying to find more information about Margarett Bartley, the wife of Eli Bartley. I believe Eli was the son of
Jesse & Jemima Bartley.
I can't find who Margarett's parents were. Margarette and Eli were married in 1871 at Buchanan Co. Virginia. At the
time of the marriage, Margarett gave her last name as Puckett, but I have seen other people list her name as Potter. I think her mother was probably Mary Baker, but
I don't know about her father. I have a death record from
Kentucky, that lists her mother as Mary Baker and her father as Aimis Willis, but I am not sure if this is right.
Any help at all is very appreciated.
