Thanks for responding. I haven't looked at this lately, but I came to think that the William Bartley my dislant cousin was searching for was the son of Issac Bartley b. 1780 Orange CO d. 1860 Russell CO, VA and Tabitha (maybe Boab) b. 1793 d. 1858. My distant cousin lives in CA. He thought that Samuel was the father of his William Bartley.
I have another cousin who thinks that Revelle (not sure of spelling as I have seen it several different ways)Bartley was the father of William. So, I am just not sure. The thing that confuses me so is that there were two Mary Bartley's born
abt 1853 in the same area. Until I can know for sure which Mary Bartley married into the Branham family, I can't figure out the right family. I was so certain I had it figured out, but I don't.
