Hello - haven't posted for a long time, have information to share and still looking for more!
Looking for:
Nancy Bartley - no dates - my gggrandmother
Elizabeth S. Bartley - my ggrandmother. b 1859 d 2/22/1936.
Buried in the old section of North Cemetery in Butler.
John Wilbur Bartley - my grandfather. b 2/20/1888 d 12/21/1958. Buried in Greenlawn Burial Estates outside of Butler.
Esther Marie - probably sister of John. No dates - only have a copy of a school certificate of graduation from May 1914.
They lived at 801 N. McKean Street - a few blocks down from the city library.
Have information and other contacts for many other Bartleys from that area:
Robert Bartley, Sr. b 1775 in Down (Dun) Co. Ireland
married Margaret Adams in 1800 (nothing for her)He died in 1862.
Thomas Bartley, Sr b 1803
Williamson Bartley 1822-1891 married Maryanne (no last name)
John Logan Bartley b Oct 23 1807 d 1876 married an Elizabeth McQuiston.
Robert Bartley, Jr b 1812 married Margaret Logan. Children
Joseph b 1814, George b 1816, Isiah b 1827 and Adam b 1830.
Dixon Bartley b 1809 married Rebecca Smith

And the double Bartleys:
Paul Samuel Bartley b Aug 1890 d June 1952 married Nettie Bartley b Aug 1898 d March 1981. Her father was William C. Bartley. A son who does a lot of Bartley research still lives around there and will share information - he does not use a computer. His name is Laverne Bartley and his wife is Elizabeth who live on BARTLEY LANE in Valencia, PA.
