My Bartley family came from Pickaway County, OH. My g.g. grandfather, Benjamin Bartley was born there in February, 1811. His father was Christopher Bartley who died there in September 1840. Christopher was born about 1773 in either VA or PA and that is as far back as I can go on that line.
Christopher married Catherine Earheart in Augusta County, VA. Benjamin married Mary Newhouse and the family moved to IL for short while and then on to Southwest MO where some of family still resides.
Have more information for anyone interested in this line.
