If that's the case, then I know this isn't part of my line. My line begins with Lazarus Thomas Barclay, although earlier records indicate that his name was spelled Bartley, then subsequently changed to Barkley. Lazarus has a son, Robert, who was born in Virginia in 1773 and died in Indiana about 1836, so that should pretty much eliminate a connection with my line.
