Believe your Thomas Bartley, who married Margaret Burcham, has often been confused with my Thomas Bartley, born 9 April 1759 in London, Eng. and died 1854 in Edgefield, SC.
Another researcher, descendant of your Thomas, has said that dates on headstone of your Thomas are actually dates for my Thomas.
Believe both men born in Eng. Both fought in Rev War. Have letters from archives on both.
