Bartholomew's in NY.

I dont know if i can sort this out, however, i have a census record that states my Ancestor Angela Bartholomew ( My GGG Grandmother)was born in NY, even though the family is listed as being from and living in the state if Indiana at that time( 1816). I think there must be some connection Between the Penn/Indiana Bartholomew's and the Bartholomew Familys of NY. I dont think anyone has been able to tie them together, as of yet, but I think there must be a connection.
