Are you aware that the name Swickard is also, a form of Swinehart? We have family ties to a family of Bartholomew's in Tuscarawas Co. Oh. The original spelling was Bottlemy. Have you come across this spelling, also? I have Swinehart's in my Smith lines, as well, and a cousin that has done some considerable work on the Swinehart family. Let me know if there is anything we can help with. At this time I don't know if the Bartholomew's connect. But did come across the permission to marry in a work done by Harrison Co. Oh, for Margaret and Martin.
