Do you think this family came from New York or Vermort? I have a line with several Isaac Bartholomews in it.

1. Isaac b. 1664, Roxbury, MA (named for his granfather Isaac JOHNSON)
He had a son Isaac, b. 1699, Branford, CT; and grandsons, Isaac (son of Jr.) b. 1750, Branford; and Isaac, son of Josiah (my ancestor) b. 1753, Branofrd; moved to NY. THe second grandson also had a son named Isaac, b. 14 April 1794, Branford; d. 25 Sept 1882; m. 18 Aug 1812. I don't have their children's names.
