Thanks for the reply. Since posting my inquiry, I have aquired a Bartholomew family history compiled by Phyllis Bartholomew Tilton that is quite extensive. To answer your question, my grandfather Stanley's parents were named William Harpham Bartholomew and Leah Eggleston. His grandfather was Grant Palmer Bartholomew. My line is the same one that you spoke of descending from William and John Bartholomew. Phyllis Tilton mentions Scotish anscestry, but does not elaborate. Any info. you have would be appreciated!
