There was something goofy about Barbara's
message. I couldn't bring it up, so I don't
know what information she needed on Amos.
Anyway, Amos was born in Pompey, N.Y.
on 6/11/1815. His first wife was Almira
Shannon (b. 3/2/1816, d.7/26/1863,m.8/10/1834). It looks like
they had 7 kids; Daniel, Chauncey, Miranda,
Grove, Phoebe, Esther, and Lydia. Amos'
second wife was Abbie Van Buren(b.1/8/1829
m.3/2/1864) They appear to have had Lizzie,
Lillie, and Abbie. Amos was living in
Reading,Mich when my source book was
being written (~1880). Amos' fathers' name
was Daniel Ives. Both his grandfather and
greatgrandfather's names were Joseph. If I
