I have a marriage record for John Emmanuel Carvell and his wife Catherine Leed. John's parents are listed as Thomas Carvell and Elizabeth BARTHOLOMEW. John was born in 1833 and was born in Lancaster City according to this record. Thomas Carvell was gone from census records in 1850 and Elizabeth Bartholomew was remarried to George Miller with her son John E. Carvell in the household of Warwick Twp., Lancaster Co., PA.
In the 1830 census, Elizabeth Carvel is listed in Lancaster City, Lancaster Co., PA with two females, one 10-15 the other 15-20. Elizabeth is head of household (age between 30 and 40) with no males listed. This is three years before John E. Carvell was born.
In 1860, there is a George and Elizabeth Miller living in Lancaster's SW ward. George and Elizabeth each have individuals for real estate and personal property. Elizabeth BARTHOLOMEW was born about 1796 according to the census records. She most likely died after 1860 and before 1870.
I'm looking for any information about this Elizabeth BARTHOLOMEW married 1st Carvell and 2nd Miller.
