David: I tried to use two other books for my
documentation, The History of Barnard and the
History of Hartford. The DAR says they are
not accepting published family histories.
They are only accepting things like land
deeds, wills, birth and death records, etc.
His parents were not named on his marriage
record, nor his death record. I'm hoping
someone has a record of a sibling (which has
documentary proof) that names him as a brother. Or any other document. It is a shame
all of his descendants should be denied.
