Bartholomew, and Van's siblings (including Bill, Minnie's husband) records that their father Oliver Nathaniel Bartholomew was born February 15, 1857, in Boscobel, Wisconsin. Died December 13, 1936, Spokane. Married Lydia Jane Denney (who was born March 15, 1861 in Bremer County, Iowa; died September 6, 1939).
