I will try to find it and post the address. * means William Scott Bartholomew line William Scott Bartholomew was born on March 17, 1846 on a ship coming to America from Ireland. His birth certificate reads "An Irishman Born at Sea". His parents were Andrew Jackson Bartholomew (b. Mar 11, 1815 in Ohio I think) and Margaret Scott (b. Mar 15, 1819 & married on Mar 28, 1838 County Cork, Ireland) Came to America because of continuous war betweent he Catholics and the Protestants. Family settled in Steubenville, OH on the Ohio River. Andrew & Margaret's Children: James (b. Aug 30, 1840 d. Aug 31, 1840) Jane Elizabeth (b. Sept 14 1842, d. Mar 23, 1846) *William Scott (b. Mar 17, 1846, d. Oct. 21, 1917) Samantha (b. Aug 27, 1847, married Andrew Creamer on Jan 31, 1869) Lived in Agency Iowa. I have a list of their children if anyone needs it. Thomas C. (b. Jan 15, 1850 d. Jan 25 1911) married Mary Garver on Aug. 17, 1871, lived in Domus KS-I have more info. John G. 9b. May 25, 1851 lived in Agency City, Iowa Delphine (b. Sept 26, 1854, d. Sept 4th 1855) Issac Newton (b. July 24, 1856) no death date Benjamin F. (b. July 24, 1856) no death date-Issac's twin William Scott joined the Union Army as a drummer boy. He picked up the rifle of a slain buddy and became a regular soldier. He lost the sight of one eye. he was with Sherman's March to Sea. After the war married Cornelia Elizabeth Mitchell (daugher of Capt. James Mitchell) on Jun 14, 1866 in Agency City IA. Moved to Newton County, MO to homestead. Left Missouri and settled in a little area near Strickler Arkansas. (You will find Strickler on HWY 265 S about 15 miles South of Fayetteville). Then moved to Scott County Arkansas. Cornielia Elizabeth Mitchell (b. Apr 6, 1846 TN, d. Feb 12, 1905, buried in Coop Prairie Cemetary in Mansfield, AR) Very prominent, involved in church & civic affairs, well educated, singer and musician. Cousins by the name of Tailer alternated as Gov. of TN. Cornelia was in a finishing school in Gettysburg and was present when Pres. Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address. Children of William Scott Bartholomew and Cornelia Elizabeth Mitchell Bartholomew: 1. Charles Sheridan-my line 2. Minnie Theresa 3. Margaret Emily 4. Mary Alice 5. Ben Andrew 6. James Garfield 7. William Vinton 8. Clifford Irvin After the death of Cornelia, William Scott married Etta Charlotte Bullard on Aug 21, 1905. She was born on Sept. 26, 1877 in Alabama. He was 59 at the time. She died May 24, 1965 and is buried in Townsendhouse Cemetary in Dade City, FL Children of William Scott and Etta: Floy Eddie (b. Nov 11, 1906 Mansfield, AR, d. May 11, 1981) She married Harry Hines on June 11, 1924. Their children were, Joyce Irene (b. Oct 27, 1925) and Martha Carol (b. Dec. 25 1943) Robley Evans (b. May 23, 1909 at Mansfield, AR) Married Pearl Scheiern on Jun 13, 1940) Robley died Dec. 1, 1978 Their children: Charlotte Mae (b. Dec 14 1941) Gloria Jean (b. Oct 11, 1945) Rosilia (b. Mar 15, 1948) Virginia Lynn (b. Mar 9, 1949) Robley Evans Jr. (b. Mar 3 1950) Juanita Lois (b. Feb 12, 1951) Lucina Pearl (b. Jun 21, 1952) William Scott Bartholomew was a member of the Company E 22nd Infantry. He was wounded it Vicksburg. He was at Gettysburg and heard Lincon's address after the Battle of the Shenandoah Valley. He was discharged at Savannah. His family moved to Florida when his son Robley was a baby probably around 1908. He died at Zephyrhills, FL of an apparent stroke on Oct 21, 1917 and is buried at Oakside in the Civil War Veterens Plot. This information was compiled by my mothers cousin. I have copies of family birth records, William's discharge papers, a Christmas sermon that he preached in Mansfield, AR and a funny story about a revival he preached in Evansville, AR where he had to put his pistols on the pulpit after threathening the "rude desperados" not to drag their spurs across the floor or they would get them shot off, a photo of him, Etta, Floy and Robley, his and Etta's obits and more. William Scott Bartholomew was my GGG-Grandfather This is William Scott Bartholomew's line: *Henry Bartholomew born in Holland in 16__? He came to America and setttled near Philadelphia, PA (no date) where he was a blacksmith. He died in 1740. I don't have a spouses name that I can find at the time. His children were: Peter *Henry (#2)-born in Easton, PA and died in Lancaster County (no dates) John Nicholas Henry (#2) married Elizabeth Shofstall Their children: 1. Mary-no birth date-She married Martin Miller and moved to OH 2. John- twin born in Easton, PA about 1770, died in Belmont Co. OH at the age of 73. 3. Henry-twin born in Easton, PA about 1770 and moved to OH where he died. (no dates) 4. Elizabeth born 1771 married Hoseph Millon. Second marriage to John Parker. She died in Belmont Co. in 1864 at the age of 93. One child Susan Parker. *5. Joseph born in 1780 and died in Lancaster, PA on Aug 22 1834. He married Margaret Merchant on Apr 5 1807 at Anne Arundel Co. MD. Margaret was born in Baltimore, MD on May 12, 1785 and was living in Pleasant Wapello Co. MD. Joseph was drafted in 1813 at Annapolis, MD and served under Capt. Barnes in Co. Hood's regiment. He a;sp served in Aug 1814 under and was present at the death of Gen. Ross. Joseph and Margaret's childern were: 1. Samuel Miller Bartholomew (b Jan 5 1808 d Apr 26 1845 at Smithfield, OH)wives & children *2. Andrew Jackson Bartholomew (b. Mar 11, 1815 3. Thomas Martin (b.
