Hi Susan!
Thanks so much for you response. I am not sure if he was a Minister or not. My family has few details regarding his life. I do know that he was in the civil war (possibly a drummer) and is now buried in Zephyrhills, Florida in Oakside Cemetery. He was previously married and his wife passed away. He had several children from his first marriage and remarried my great grandmother (Etta Charlotte Bartholomew). He was living in Scott, Arkansas around 1910. I have heard rumors his family may have come from Iowa but I have been unable to confirm this. Wlliam Scott Bartholomew fathered my Grandfather (Robley Evans Bartholomew). I was told that my grandfather (Robley Evans)was once visited by a step-brother by the name of Clifford Bartholomew and his wife Ethyl Bartholomew. I believe Cliff and Ethyl were living in Orange County California at the time. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks so much!
Robley Evans Bartholomew III
