Don. I had my YDNA checked and compared with a known descendant of John (Johan) who married Dorothy Endt. We are related back about 10 generations. General Joseph being my 3rd great grandfather is then related to Johan who is reported to have come from Holland. Since Germany has no ports I think perhaps this Bartholomew line came from Germany to Holland then America. There seems to be so much confusion regarding this line we each can decide what we feel is correct. The repeatition of names in the William line is the same as the General Joseph line.
