Help need from Roderick “Roger” Cauley researchers!
1. Many folks say his wife was Mary Dove (a.k.a. Mary Dove Bartholomew). Questions: Why do you think she was his wife? What is the source of this belief?
2. A source (see 1st ref.) on Nunn Bible records includes information on Elizabeth Nunn’s marriage to Thomas Cauley. The Nunn Bible records say that Thomas was the son of Roger Cauley and Alcey. It includes a listing of Thomas & Elizabeth Cauley children. Another source (see 2nd ref.) on the Nunn Bible records say the same information but also state “Roger Cauley from Ireland – wife said to be Alcey Herring”. The 3rd ref. is James J. Cauley (son of Thomas) Cemetery listings.
