Your grandfather and ggrandfather are in the Bartholomew book on p.502. John Henry was born Nov. 9, 1840. He married Jane Eliza Maynard Mar. 2, 1859. She was born Aug. 29, 1843. He was in the U.S. army for one year and resided in Antwerp, OH. Children listed are (1) William H. Bartholomew born Jan. 9, 1861, (2) Elmer E. Bartholomew born Mar. 1863 and died Mar. 1864, and (3) Henry U.S.G. Bartholomew born Aug. 1864 and died May 1880. John Henry was the sixth of ten children born to John Schumaker Bartholomew and his wife, who was also his cousin, Harriet Cena Bartholomew.
