#445 George, p.382/83 of Bartholomew book, b.in Hampden, OH 12-19-1833; m. 1-5-1854 Angeline Elizabeth Houghton, who was b. 1-20-1831 in Yates Co., NY. They lived in Troy, OH and had six children. (1) Chloe Pamelia b. 1-28-1855, (2) George Alba b. 4-20-1857, (3) Emma Deliah b. 9-14-1859, (4) EDWARD LINCOLN b. 7-27-1861 (5) Franklin Dennis b. 2-6-1865, (6) Willie Washington b. 7-14-1871. The father of #445 George was #232 William Chauncey, p. 265, who was b. 5-12-1803. He m. Polly Johnson in 1823. He d. 4-26-1872. The book states that Polly was the first child b. in Burton, OH on 8-11-1804 and she d. 9-25-1878. The book states that William was a farmer in Hampden OH, previous to 1842, when he removed to Burton, OH. William and Polly had nine children, including George. The father of #232 William was #97 John, p. 167, who was b. in Farmington. He m. Abba Lucia Smith (Abigail p.108) She d. abt. 1835 and he then m. again. He d. 3-4-1853 in Hampden, OH. John and Abba had six children, including William. The book states that John removed after 1800 from Bristol to Goshen, CT; and then abt. 1817 to Hampden where he purchased 700 acres, and carried on a farm in connection with the store which his son Joel left at his decease. The father of #97 John was #34 John, p. 107/08, who was b. 4-15-1744 in Branford. He m. Lucy Carrington 12-24-1766. The book states that he d. 10 years later as a Revolutionary soldier in the Hospital Ship in New York harbor. John and Lucy had five children, including John. The father of #34 John was #15 Abraham, p.80-83. Abraham was b. in Branford 6-28-1708. He m. Hannah Page in B (I presume it means Branford) 6-18-1730. Hannah d. bef. 10-25-1770. There is quite a bit of information on Abraham that I will email directly to you. Abraham and Hannah had eight children, including John. Abraham d. in Farmington, CT, p.71. The father of #15 Abraham was #8 Isaac, p. 70/71 who was b. 11-1-1664 in Roxbury MA. He m. Rebecca Frisbie abt. 1694. Isaac d. 10-25-1727 in North Branford. Isaac and Rebecca had eleven children, including Abraham. I have added information for Isaac also. The father of #8 Isaac was #6 William, p. 56-64. He was b., probably in Ipswich, in 1640/41. He m. Mary Johnson 12-17-1663 in Roxbury, MA. William and Mary had nine children, including Isaac. William d. in the spring of 1697 p. 43. There is alot of information on #6 William. The father of #6 William was #2 William, p. 27-43, who was b. 1602 or 03. William was supposed to be the second son of William and Friswede Bartholomew of Burford, Eng. William d. 1-18-1680. william and wife Anna had three children, including William. Again there is alot of information on #2 William. You and I don't connect until we get to #6 William.
