I am trying to find info on my ggfather name Andrew Jackson and I believe that his birth name was Bartholomew and changed in the 1800s to Carroll. He was married to Amanda Covington of Kentucky. Chilren are some as follows. James A-Idella-Lilly-Eddie Lee-Pearl and probably more. The thing I am confused about is why the name change? PLEASE help if you can. Contact me a mamawlinda420@aol.com
