Presently I am working on the family tree going back to the 15th century. James Barter 1700?? in England. John Barter had 14 children [1785]. Andrew Barter and Henry Barter were two of those children. they both had large families. The other 12 children of John Barter [1850's] are missing from the family tree. I have the names. I do have a family tree from 1730 ?? to the present 1999. I would like to complete the tree. Do you have any more information on your tree that could supply a connection between the Barter's. My father George Barter came from England in 1907 as a home child. He is alive to today in Ottawa Ontario, 100 years of age.
He married into the Fregin Family Ocean Falls Quebec. The Fregin family moved to Ottawa Ontario Canada in the early 1900's.
