Hi, I'm trying to account for all of the enumerated students in the Myrtle #69 school district in 1910. Frank Barter was 16 in the census, so probably did not attend Myrtle, but was counted because he was under 20 years old. His dad was listed as George Barter. Frank would have been born about 1894. The school was located 3 miles north of Avon, Bon Homme county, South Dakota. If you know about Frank or George Barter, please e-mail Donna at: hubner@pinn.net
They were only in the census one year so may not have been from South Dakota, but just passing through heading towards a permanent settlement or staying with relatives while working on the farm. THANKS!
