BARTER in Maine, 1700s

I am looking for information on several generations of Barters in Maine. I only have names for most of these individuals, few dates and places. I know for certain that Samuel Barter was b. Dec. 13, 1798 in Strong, ME. He was the son of Benjamin and Mary/Polly? McDonald. Benjamin may have been born in Strong; his wife may be from Massachusetts. Benjamin's father was also named Benjamin and may have been born in Damariscotta. If anyone has any information on these individuals, I would sincerely appreciate hearing from you. Thanks!!
