I have not got that far into the family records, I do know the church here in PGH that they belonged to and where jacob and his wife are buried. Of more interest to you however is the fact that in wilkes barre PA in the north east corner of the state was a Bartels Brewery. I have been collecting that "stuff" for some time. Somehow we must be related because of the death notices being printed also in east st. louis.and PGH.
