Hello,
This is interesting, I was actually just at lunch with my grandparents discussing our family history. I am taking a trip to Europe to study abroad for a year and trying to get some family information together so that I can possibly visit some cities where the Bartel family is originally from. I believe that we are related, my great-great grandfather founded Comfort Texas along with a friend of his. My great-great-grandfather's name is Adolf Bartel, and my great grandfather's name is August Bartel, followed by my grandfather named Frederick August Bartel. Adolf had 12 children and I know that his father had 12 as well, I am going to be receiving a family tree from my grandfather shortly so hopefully it will have some useful information, or at least a start.
