Looking for any help or direction. I have very little info to go on.

Seeking the parents of Rosa L. Bartles or Bartel, d/o H. H. Bartel. Rose was born 12 Oct. 1889 in PA. H. H. was supposedly born in PA as well. His wife's name unknown.

Rosa lived in Belleville, St. Clair Co, IL; Nashville, Washington Co, IL; and Portsmouth, Scioto Co, OH.

Family info says she had a brother named Harry who lived in East St. Louis, St. Clair Co, IL and a sister named Florence. Supposedly her mother died after 1914 in Indianapolis, IN when her father went off to Mexico.

Rose married Charles B. Hartmann of St. Clair Co, IL. They were my husband's great grandparents. She died in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio 29 Apr 1912 of typhoid fever. Her son, my husband's grandfather, was 5 months old.
