I have only speculation, but the father might have been a Robert Bartee. There was a Robert Bartee on the Henry Co VA 1780 tax list. A Robert Bartee on the 1805 Georgia Lottery lists in Columbia Co. A Robert on the 1821 Jones Co. land lottery. Susan Bartee, the person I am following was also in Jones Co with Abraham in 1830.
