Hello Brittany,
I am interested in any information you might have about Susan Bartee and her family. Would you know anything about her parents or siblings?
My great grandmother was her daughter, Sarah Satterwhite. In 1841, Sarah married James Madison Hollis in Harris Co, GA. About 1855, they moved to Texas and when Indian Territory opened for settlement about 1890, they moved there. She died about 1900 and is buried in Oakdale Cemetery in what is now Washita County, Oklahoma.
