Frances Bartee m James Butt ca.1797 maybe in Virginia?

I am searching for parents of Frances BARTEE. I have no birth or death information for her, only that she married James BUTT, and they had a daughter named Frances Bartee BUTT -- how very original of them! <grin> -- born 11 Oct 1798 in Virginia, which would lead me to suspect they may have married not long before then and probably in the same general vicinity. Frances Bartee BUTT married Samuel Wallis HOPE in 1816 in Tennessee.

(Yes, I know the common nickname for Frances was Fanny, and yes, my ancestress went by the now-unfortunate name of Fanny Butt. She wasn't the only one, though -- the LDS site lists several Fanny Butts, none of which match up with my family.)

Anyway, all comedy aside, I would appreciate any information on this family.
