I am looking for any information pertaining to John Norcum (slave name). From what I have been told, John's african name was Bartee(blackfoot Indian)and he was a slave. He married Lousie (or Laura) Dusenburg.

They lived in Edonton, N.C.

John Norcum/Bartee was born around 1700 or 1800. Any information that is known, would be greatly appreciated.
