I haven't heard of any from there, but that doesn't mean some of the family didn't end up there. The Bartee family from Norfolk, VA appears to have origins in France. I know there were quite a few Frenchmen in Mexico at one time, but I don't know if they let any of them stay or ran them all out <smile>.
What Bartee connection have you found to Mexico?
