I think I may have found the "lost daughter" of John Barstow and Lydia Hatch, born 8 March 1691/92 in Scituate, Mass.

She has an adult baptism 5 August 1711, showing that she survives childhood. However, futher records of her have not been located, now for her sisters, Lydia nad Susanna. What happened to the three Bartstow sisters?

John and Lydia Barstow, sell their property in Scituate in 1713. Records of the deaths or wills have not been located.

My ancestors' marriage intent of December 1719 has been located in Boston between a AUGUSTUS HALE and ABIGALL BASTARD. However, I can not located the marriage record. Augustus and Abigail Hale start having children in late 1720 in Boston. The marrige probably takes place in January or Febuary of 1720. Augustus Hale is the son of Scottish immigrant, Arthur Hale and his wife, Mary, of Boston. Arthur Hale arrived in Boston in 1684. Augustus was born in Boston in 1696.

I believe that this may be Abigail Barstow, daughter of John Barstow and Lydia Hatch. The spelling variants of BARSTOW are quite varied and may include BASTARD.
