My grandfather was Condito Barsotti who came to Baltimore from Lucca or the area near Lucca in Tuscany. From what I hear, there are many Barsottis there. I grew up in Colorado and there were no other Barsottis around. We used to love to see the C. Barsotti cartoons! We would get all excited and say, "Look! It says Barsotti!" I'm in Colorado Springs now and there is a Charles Barsotti here, no direct relation. He has a grandson named Michael. My brother is named Michael also. Stange how the names seem to go together.
