I have the following Barry's in my tree who are not directly related to my line of Barrys as far as i know. This lot are from County Clare and may be the ones you are looking for.The information came from the Biographical Index of South Australians, which is only as good as the information given by the submitters, but gives good leads to follow up on.
I have Richard Barry b c1819 ?co Clare, Ireland who married Cath Considine b c 1823 Ireland.they emigrated to South Australia on the "Royal Albert" in 1857 and was a farm labourer. They lived at Salisbury and were Roman Catholic.
Their children were:
Thomas (c1839-), Bridget (cl841-), Michael (cl843-), Mary (c1845-), Julia (c1847-), David (c1849-), John (c1852-), Richard Andrew (1858-1945)
Their son David, who was born ? Ireland, married Anne Shannon on 28 Dec 1873 at St PEter & PAul, Gawler, South Australia. They had Richard Barry b c 1877and David Francis Barry Sr (born 01 Mar 1879 at Baroota, nr Clare, South Australia who married Emily Stocks, they had a son David Francis Barry jr, who was born at Riverton, who married Ivy Addison.
I am looking a bit more up for you now, but will send this.
