Marie,
I don't have much info on Patrick Barry myself. I have seen several obits for him and none seem to mention much about his parents or roots --just that he was born in 1816 near Belfast, Ireland, son of a farmer.
Patrick Barry married in 1847. I don't know the name of his wife.
I do know an historian who is working on a topic related to this. I'll ask him if he has any info on Patrick's family.
