My ancestors on my mother's side are RICHARD BARRY who was born in Cork, Ireland circa 1718, and married 05 november 1759 Charlotte Dumontet dit Lagrandeur,(born 20dec 1725)
in Laprairie, Québec. His parents were Anthony Barry and Elisabeth Demony who lived in Cork, Ireland.
I dont know where he landed in America, it is possible in USA because he was 41 years when he was married in Laprairie and his wife was 24 years old.
It seems we are from the same line. What do you think about this? And in what city did your ancestor lived when he first landed in America. And do you know the name of the boat?
Any information is very precious for me, because I search
his origin for many years. Thanks for your attention.
