In the 1860 census of Allen Co., Kansas is listed a William Barry 49, his wife America(?)E.35, children: Charlie 14, Tabetha 9, William 4, and John 1. In 1870 they are found in Cherokee Co., Kansas with children John now 11, Elizabeth 8, and Lewis 5. Did they have an older daughter Mary Ann who married Andrew Chandler? In both census' they live next door to Andrew and his family. Andrew's wife was Mary Ann Barry. So far we have not been able to identify Mary Ann's parents.
