My great grandmother Cathrine/Kate Barry was born about 1861 in ?, Ireland. She came to the United States about 1872. She married about 1880 - 1882 a Patrick Mc Grath born ? in ? Ireland. I believe they may have married in New Jersey. First daughter Marie/Mamie, b. Hoboken, NJ 1882, daughter 2, Bridie/Birdie b. 1886 Jersey City, NJ, #3, a son Lawrence Francis b. 1888 in New York City (my grandfather) and #4 Margarette b. 1890, New York City. The only time I have found this family was in 1900 federal census on Roosevelt St. in Manhattan, NY. Catherine/Kate has remarried (married for 4 years at this time) to a Timothy Lynch b. ?, Ireland. In 1909 my grandfather Lawrence married...
The rest of the family has fallen of the face of the earth.
Great grandparents names come from Lawrence's marriage certificate and death certificate.
