Glenlara is probably the township -- the area surrounding the town of Newmarket was broken up into townships and named. My grandfather's house was in the township of Toureedarby, about 5 miles NW of Newmarket, Newmarket was the closet town and that's were he was baptised and attended church.
I have two lines of Barrys from Newmarket -- on my g-mother's side and on my gr-father's side but I do not see any Daniel Barrys before the 20th century. Many of the other names you mentioned are names in my family:William, Jack, Jeremiah, Margaret, Michael, & I have 2 Con (Cornielus) Murphys in my family, so we might be related somewhere.
Have you contacted your cousin that still runs the bakery?I went to Ireland in July 1999 and met my 2 second cousins (our grandfathers were brothers -- of 5 siblings their grandfather was the only one to stay in Ireland) and they gave me a lot of info for that side of the family.Their father was a Doherty from Taur. They could tell me everyone in the cemetery that was related to me and which side of the family. If you don't get anywhere, I could give you the name of one of the cousins, she might know something.
