John Barry immigrated to the US from Ireland -- I do not know the date. His son's name was James Joseph Barry, who is my grandfather. James Joseph married Anna Katherine Gorman. James and Katherine had the following children: James Joseph, Elizabeth Marie, Louis J. and Willis J.
John Barry (my g/grandfather) worked for Erie-Lackawanna Railroad for many years.
He and Mary Brown Barry, his wife, lived for a time in Erie County, NY (near Buffalo).
