Michael and Mary Barron - Ireland to Scotland to NYC 1888

Hello folks,

I'm hoping someone here can contribute some informaion. I'm a novice and I keep hitting a brick wall when I trace the history these two:

Michael (born May 1854) and Mary (born 1858 - maiden name unknown) Barron were married in Ireland in 1878. On was from Cork and the other from Waterford although the records do not indicate which.

They emigrated to Scotland at a date unknown to me where they had children Mary, Jennie, Kate, Matthew and James.

In roughly, 1888 they came to New York to live in Brooklyn.

I have history on them once they reach the US but nothing before.

Any information or advice would be very helpful.
