Have just found that I have Barron family connections back in the 1700s.
Margaret Barron born 2 July 1732. daughter of a Patrick Barron.
Her first husband was Peter/Patrick Findlay. They married 1 November 1747 in Tarves, Abdn. Their daughter married a Mackie (my greatx5 grandfather).
Her second husband was George Jamieson. They married 28 November 1758 in Old Meldrum, Abdn. There is also Mackie family ties in there too.
