Capt. Timothy Barron of Westford, MA

I do know that the first Barron to come to US was more than likely thethe younger son without much hope in inheriting a title or money. He landed in American in the late 1600 or early 1700 in MA.His name was changed from Baroun or something similar to Barron. At one time his family had blood ties to the Fitzgeralds of Iraland (the same ancestry as JFKennedy). The name had been a hyphened name, but because of a disagreement the two families parted.Supposely there is a family cres, but who knows. The reason I know this is that my mother was a Barron. If you have anything different . . . would appreciate info.
