Could this be these Barrons...AL 1860 Census Pike Co. (Monticella, p. 277)
#648 Barron, J.M. mwfarmer $300$215GA
Sabra 42 fwGA(b.1818)
Sarah 22 f w GA(b.1838)
John W. 15 m w AL (b.1845)
Elizabeth 13 f w AL(my greatgrandmother, Nancy Elizabeth)(b.1847)
Martha 14 f w AL(b.1846)
James 9m w AL(b.1851)
Randolph 5 m w AL(b.1855)
B. Lafayette 1 m w AL(b.1859)
Joseph was either the father (and perhaps the date for his age is listed wrong...maybe he was 48 or 38 yrs old), or the elder son in this family. It is possible that the father was away or dead and this Joseph was listed as head of the household.I know that Sabra Bryant married Joseph M. Barron.
I have been looking for some of this family to share data with.My Grandmother spoke of an Uncle Randolph. She grew up in the Russell and Barbour county area. There is also an Oscar Barron somehow connected to this family.I have a picture of 3 children labled " Oscar Barron's Children", but I cannot find out anything about him either. If this fits with the family you are looking for I would like to hear from you.
